I don't know about you, but I have always had the hardest time getting the burnt on food bits off of my glass stove top. I'm also the world's messiest cook, so my stove top is constantly in need of a good cleaning.
Another problem is I HATE scrubbing. I don't want to use elbow grease of any kind. I tried Pinterest hack after Pinterest hack and nothing gave it the shine that I wanted without the effort. Lazy? Maybe. But I've got better things to do than scrub at my stove top with baking soda and a razor blade.
Well, through trial and error, I finally found a method that works quickly and with minimal effort!
You Will Need:
Barkeepers Friend Stovetop Cleaner & A Scrub Daddy non-scratch scrub. That's it!
To Clean Your Glass Stove Top:
Squirt bar keepers friend on the stove-top. Make sure to get it directly on any areas that are in need of extra attention. If your stove is in really rough shape, I'd recommend letting it sit for an hour or so. This allows the barkeepers friend to dry, forcing you to scrub a little harder to get it (and therefore the burnt bits) off.
Get your Scrub Daddy wet. If you've never used one, you should know that the texture of the sponge changes depending on water temperature. If your stove is relatively clean, you can use hot water from the get go (which creates a softer sponge). If you need your sponge to remain firm, use cold water to start.
Scrub away the Bar Keeper's Friend! Rinse sponge and repeat as necessary.
Wipe down with a dry cloth.
Admire your sparkling stove top.
That's it! Simple and effective! Let me know in the comments if this worked for to clean your glass stove top, too!
